Cargo claims

Claims pertaining to loss or damage of cargo can be sent to customerrelations.cargo@goindigo.in and must include the following documents:

1. Claim letter from the rightful entity as mentioned on the Master Air Waybill, preferably from the shipper on company letterhead with the following details:

  1. Value claimed
  2. Description of the consigned goods.
  3. Description of loss/damage.
  4. Number of pieces and weight claimed for
  5. Declaration that the said consignment is not insured with any insurance company and that the shipper is not filing for any claims with any external insurance company for the same consignment.

2. Copy of delivery order

3. Proof of value by way of bills/invoices or cash memos.

4. Final Short landing certificate issued at destination on demand by the consignee, after 21 days of short landing.

Note: All claims are subject to investigation and scrutiny. Claim process/scrutiny is initiated when all the required documents are received from the claimant.
