We carry cremated ashes of human remains and pets in urns on our flights.
Documents required for transportation of cremated ashes
Death certificate/Postmortem certificate
No Objection Certificate issued by the local police station
Cremation certificate issued by government authorised cremator
Indemnity from the medical practitioner stating that the deceased is free from infectious disease (Often the statement appears on the death certificate itself)
Packaging:
Lighter material (like fibre, cay, etc.) to be used as urn
No metal urn is acceptable for carriage
The urn must be placed inside a box with adequate cushioning
Citizens of Nepal and Maldives are eligible for tax exemption/reduction, as per applicable laws, on the airfare. In order to avail such tax exemption/reduction, passengers must declare their correct nationality at the time of booking. In case citizens of Nepal or Maldives intend to travel with any foreign nationals, such citizen (passenger) are requested to kindly book tickets for accompanying foreign national (passengers) in a separate PNR/ticket. Once selected, the nationality cannot be changed at any point during the booking process.
